How we did it

A wall-size photo at Upcycle Piano Craft provides a backdrop for performances in the showroom — and endless fascination for visitors. First, the answer to the question that is heard ever so often: It was taken on the stage at the Midland Theatre, 1228 Main St. Photographer Mike Gunnoe captura series of a high-resolution images on July 19, 2019, while on the stage, looking out at the seats. The pictures were electronically stitched together to make the big photo. It was printed at Large Printing, 6633 Troost Ave., the same printer that produces the playbills for happy hour.
