Jazzy Fun at a Second October Happy Hour

We like to surprise Upcycle Happy Hour fans. So, a Special Edition Happy Hour at the Piano Shop on Oct. 22 featured jazz-funk pianist Steve Weingart, straight off the plane from Los Angeles, California, courtesy of Casio America. That’s right, two happy hours in October!

Weingart has performed with Chaka Khan and Toto. He plays around the world with @officialdaveweckl, drummer Dave Weckl. Weingart’s trio at Upcycle’s event included Kansas City musicians Forest Stewart on electric bass and John Kizilarmut on drums.

As part of the Casio promotion, a member of the happy hour audience won a PSX 1100 digital piano.
