Basse at Upcycle on September 3

David Basse, one of the most recognizable names in Kansas City jazz, will perform with a new band at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 3 in the Upcycle Piano Craft showroom. Joining Basse will be Hammond B3 organist Eric Kaplan and Mikole Kaar on saxophone and flute. Kaar is a transplant to Kansas City from Palm Springs, California.

Basse said, “I promise a powerful new show, as I'm poised to release my recording, Count on Me, with…vocalist Oleta Adams.”
