Our next series of piano-tuning classes begins in September and will end before Christmas. Upcycle Piano Craft offers comprehensive hands-on training. Imagine a career caring for one of the most treasured things in a home!

Our curriculum subjects include ​​Piano Construction, Harmonic Theory, Aural and Electronic Piano Tuning, Sound Projection, Materials and Properties, Tools and Processes, Piano Maintenance, Piano Repairs, Piano Moving, Business Planning, and Customer Service.

Our technicians school is a piano technicians class for students without piano-tuning experience. All classes are held at Upcycle Piano Craft’s facility on Main Street in Kansas City. The class provides the information and framework for an aspiring student to obtain a working knowledge of piano tuning and basic piano repairs. Successful completion requires individual study and practice in addition to classroom instruction.
